Mrs. Christina Morrison

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child. It is going to be a year full of learning and lots of new experiences. I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us! Here is a little bit about me.

I am married to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 lovely grown-up daughters. Some hobbies that I enjoy are crafting, cardmaking, scrapbooking, traveling, and reading!

This will be my 25th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten through 6th grade. Besides working with students of many ages, I have been fortunate to have had many roles throughout my teaching career: a mentor/Master teacher, Admin. Designee, curriculum pilot teacher, and a Professional Development Trainer for our district. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners.

I have high expectations for my students and expect their partnership. Respect is an integral part of my classroom. Each student is unique and capable of great things. It is my goal that your child is successful not only academically but also as a well-rounded individual. I look forward to building a partnership with you and your child.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to a great year together!

Some subject areas will have homework assigned DAILY, example: Math. Please have your child check their Student Planner or our Google Classroom page to see what the assignments are.  Assignments will be updated on the "stream" in Google Classroom daily.

Students have many opportunities during the school day to write their assignments and homework in their Student Planner. If they forget or misuse their class time, they should visit our Google Classroom page when they get home and copy it inside their Student Planners.

Homework will be checked DAILY.
